OUR SERVICES

Operating 24/7 – every day of the year, we are always available for hire with or without notice.

We carry out all the transport services you would expect from your local Private Hire Company, charged at our standard metered rate from pick-up to drop-off within the boundaries of the York Outer Ring Road.

Our range of vehicles includes Saloon Cars, Estate Cars, People Carriers and Executive Cars to cater for all your requirements. Six seaters can be arranged in advance subject to availability.

If you need to make an urgent delivery or collection, Fleetways offers a courier service to meet your needs.

We always try to ensure that your booked car will arrive on time, and transport you to your destination in a safe and comfortable manner. It is never our policy to overbook work to the detriment of our normal high standards of service.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our vehicles, which are all licensed by City of York Council and undergo their rigorous annual inspection. In addition to this, regular Company inspections ensure our vehicles adhere to the high standards of cleanliness which our customers deserve.

You should expect all our drivers to be courteous and helpful at all times, and, as with our vehicles, the Fleetways dress code ensures your driver will complete the high standard of our service.

The majority of our drivers have now completed an NVQ 2 in Road Passenger Vehicle Driving which covers issues such as Health and Safety, Professional Customer Service, Transporting children and young persons & dealing with emergency situations.

All drivers have also undergone an enhanced Police check of the Criminal Records Bureau to ensure your complete safety.



Coming Soon : E-BOOKING & IVR

E-Booking is the latest and most advanced way to book your taxis, allowing you to book your taxis directly onto our system. All you require is an internet connection and an account user name and password which remains under your complete control.

With this method you save time, money on phone calls, and, most importantly you get exactly what you order with no mistakes. You will even be able to access details of the car registration once it has been despatched.

IVR: Interactive Voice Response allows you to book a taxi from a landline telephone or a pre-registered mobile number, to pick you up from any one of up to six pre-arranged pick-up points, without the need to speak to an operator.

CARD PAYMENTS

We accept bookings by Credit & Debit card. Card payments currently apply only to fares of £10 and upwards. A small fee is charged to cover administration costs.

CREDIT ACCOUNTS

We are pleased to consider requests to open credit account facilities for customers who meet our eligibility criteria, subject to normal business cedit checks etc. If you are interested in this facility please contact the Company Secretary in the first instance, to discuss your requirements.

For that all important business trip or to get your holiday off to a flying start why not let Fleetways take you from your home right to the airport of your choice.

Our prices are competitive and are fixed for all pre-booked journeys as per the list below. For journeys starting from outside the York Outer Ring-Road there may be an extra charge – please telephone for a revised quotation.
